These roles are part of our future leadership programme where we are looking to build graduates with the skills and expertise fitting for a future leader within our Investment business.
Our investment teams support our overall purpose to help build the long-term future prosperity of our clients by managing investments for institutions and people to help them meet their financial goals and prepare for the future.
We offer innovative products and solutions across a wide range of asset classes, including Equities, Fixed income, Multi-asset, Private Assets and Alternatives.
By combining deep client relationships with market insights and our strong investment capabilities, we can design bespoke products and services. Using a combination of fundamental research and data-guided insights, we construct solutions that meet our clients changing needs.
We believe that the key to delivering better outcomes lies in gathering highly talented people who bring a diverse range of thoughts and ideas. Our 42 investment teams in 19 global locations actively manage investments across a range of asset classes. Our approach allows us to channel our insights into the right outcomes for our clients.
Our 2021 Summer Internship Programme starts on Monday 21 June 2021 and runs for 8 weeks ending on Friday 13 August 2021. This Programme will provide you with a unique introduction into the investment management industry and our investment strategies. You’ll be given introductory training and opportunities to network with people across the business.
During your internship you will be assigned to an investment team in either Equities, Private Asset, Fixed Income or Multi-Asset where you’ll have the opportunity to work on research projects, shadow senior executives and learn from some of the best in the industry.
Regardless of which team you join, our job is to outperform others in the industry by using our teams of specialists and portfolio managers to generate research ideas and contribute to our investment choices.
Our goals are aligned with those of our clients – the creation of long-term value so we want a talented, creative and diverse team. The more different ideas we have, the more likely we are to succeed.
- Innovative – you’re happy to think outside the box and look for a fresh perspective
- A great communicator with strong interpersonal skills: voicing your thoughts isn’t something you’re afraid off.
- Resilience: we expect you to make mistakes but it’s important you’re able to bounce back and learn from them.
- Be passionate about financial markets, global trends and economics
