Internship opportunities may include the following areas:
  • Strategy, Planning & Operational Performance – Business Transformation
  • Energy Procurement & Management – Energy Contract Management
  • Edison International (EIX) – EIX Strategic Planning
Business Transformation:
  • Strategy and business planning for digital and process transformation efforts.
Energy Contract Management:
  • Reviewing and analyzing contract terms and conditions with respect to curtailment, payments, reporting requirements, and other provisions, as it relates to specific projects/requests.
  • Analyzing data sources from various groups, including meter data, CAISO data, scheduling/biding data, etc.
EIX Strategic Planning:
  • Work with EIX Strategy team to define new strategic initiatives and deep-dive strategic topics.


The essentials
  • Currently pursuing MBA degree at an accredited institution with a graduation date between December 2021 and June 2022.
  • Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Previous experience analyzing complex regulatory and/or business problems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to assemble, process, and analyze information coming from various sources and develop a framework to answer underlying questions
  • Ability to develop and interpret financial models
  • Creative and innovative thinking with fast turnaround production
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work within deadlines
  • Ability to work in a flexible team environment, including functional groups outside of the department
You should know
  • The internship has a start date of May/June 2021 and end date of August/September 2021
  • Interns will have the opportunity to participate in intern mixers, executive speaker series, community volunteer events, and cross-company networking
