Financial partnership with IT function. This position functionally reports to the Sr. Finance Manager but may receive direction from other senior finance members.


A Day in the Life

Provide financial support to Global IT. This position provides an opportunity to develop systems and analytical skills, as well as business partnering.

Role will work acros the matrix partnering with IT Finance & Global IT on aspects of financial management, including Annual Operating Plan (AOP), expense analysis, month-end/quarter-end close, reporting & presenting results, capital expenditure requests, and forecasting.

This role includes creating, maintaining and updating reports and troubleshooting system issues. Provide financial support to cost center managers, including planning & forecasting project expenses/capital, and business case financial modeling. Other responsibilities include answering finance process, reporting and or system related questions, along with attending team and leadership meetings as the finance representative.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to the following duties:

  • Support financial modeling, forecasting, AOP, scenario planning, and business partnering, and ensure that deadlines and targets are met.Support financial modeling, forecasting, AOP, scenario planning, and business partnering, and ensure that deadlines and targets are met.
  • Participate in financial fiduciary responsibilities, including:
  • Prepare, post, and answer chargeback related questions.
  • Submit Asset Adds
  • Assist cost center and project managers with standard and ad hoc reporting needs, ensuring spending stays within budget and in accordance with company policies.
  • Project set-up and maintenance – own and manage project structure.
  • Capital requests – assist with capital authorization requests and forecasting
  • Prepare general ledger account reconciliations, work with Inter-Company team to complete cross-company chargebacks and month end journal entries.

  • Participate in annual budgeting process for Corporate IT.

  • Prepare, deliver, and present monthly financial results for Finance and Management on a timely basis. Ensure the accuracy of the data.

  • Develop ad hoc reports to support analyses. Work on special requests, projects, and financial presentations for management as required.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree


Nice to Have

  • 0-2+ years of Finance or Accounting experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related field
  • Microsoft Office expertise, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Must include experience creating pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, NPV/IRR, and other complex functions
  • Accounting experience and knowledge of GAAP
  • Microsoft Office experience – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Financial modelling experience
  • Experience operating in a matrixed environment and interacting across levels and organizations
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to communicate results clearly
  • Experience supporting an IT function & an understanding of foundational IT concepts
  • Technology skills including SAP, Boxi, Hyperion Essbase
  • Strong results orientation, including a high degree of initiative, proactive, and self-motivation. Strong work ethic, high integrity, and self-confidence.
  • Organized, efficient, process oriented. Strong prioritization skills
  • Team oriented with demonstrated ability and willingness to perform various tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer relations and communications skills (written and verbal). High level of diplomacy, discretion, and experience with various levels of employees
  • Good judgment, problem solving skills, tact, and discretion in identifying and resolving issues within established guidelines. Executes an alternative on their own initiative or recommends an alternative to colleagues
  • Ability to operate within a complex organization
