Position Summary:
The Associate role within the Morgan Stanley at Work B2B Marketing team will work on driving marketing, sales enablement and journey experiences for Retirement Plan Sponsors. This individual’s efforts will focus on end-to-end marketing development and execution ensuring Financial Advisors have the sales tools they need to acquire new plan sponsor relationships as well as development and execution of marketing experiments to test what resonates most with plan sponsors. This individual will report to the Retirement Solutions marketing team and will support execution of the strategy, positioning, messaging, campaign development and measurement / attribution.
Principal Areas of Responsibilities:
  • Leading marketing development and execution from idea to final product as
well as generating ideas and executing on marketing experiments
  • Maintain marketing catalogue across corporate retirement, business retirement
plans and IRAs to ensure all materials are approved and Financial Advisors
have the tools they need to sell effectively
  • Support Retirement Solutions marketing lead in development of a marketing
engine that drive awareness in our B2B customer segment with standard
marketing measurements including efficacy of our tactics and CPLs for various
campaigns in a variety of channels
  • Manage the full regulatory approval process for marketing materials with Legal
and Compliance partners
  • Manage project and communication schedules, deliverables and deadlines
  • Handles inquiries from the Business and Financial Advisors on marketing
materials and supports the Field in their requests
  • Create communications and assets to support product marketing initiatives
  • Enhance and maintain Intranet presence to help Financial Advisors improve
business practices, readily find what they need, connect more easily with each
other and the Home Office
  • Establish and cultivate internal relationships to aid in navigating the firm
effectively and efficiently when collecting information, responding to requests
or setting meetings. Develop external relationships as needed
  • Provide proactive communications to the Field

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills Required:
  • 3+ years work experience in a B2B marketing or business role within the
financial services industry. Preferably has retirement and/or content strategy
experience.
  • Experience in development of marketing plans and measurement of success
  • Experience launching and promoting products in the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of Retirement products and services
  • Prior digital marketing experience (social media, email campaigns, banner ads,
website development etc)
  • Ability to create content and presentations; strong writing skills
  • Ability to synthesize and explain complex information clearly and simply
  • Creative, innovative and independent thinker
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative and team skills
  • Robust writing skills including a pristine attention to detail
  • Solid project management skills; ability to handle multiple projects at the same
time
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams (technology, legal, compliance,
communications, design etc)
