The BI Data Analyst will work with the Business Intelligence team on supporting the reporting needs of the partner solutions line of business.
Design, develop, and support interactive Tableau visualizations that can be used by non-technical users up to the executive level
Develop and maintain Tableau Data Sources on an internal Tableau Server portal and in Oracle Exadata
Extract and prepare data for analysis across multiple platforms (Tableau, Database Connections (Oracle & MySQL), excel, flat files)
Interface cross departmentally to understand the needs and objectives of the business
Perform data quality analysis to ensure data integrity and accuracy of reporting
1-3 years of experience with Tableau in a business environment, including using Tableau desktop to publish workbooks on Tableau Server
Sound understanding of BI best practices/methodologies, relational structures, dimensional data modeling (OLAP, OLTP, etc.), scale, structured query language (SQL) skills, query performance tuning, data warehouse and reporting techniques (including ETL techniques)
Strong analytical skills to solve and model sophisticated business requirements are a plus
Strong troubleshooting / problem solving skills
Python skills a plus
