The U.S. Wealth Management business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and comprised of the Chase Wealth Management business, J.P. Morgan Securities and You Invest – our digital investing platform. The combined business has ~$400 billion in Assets under Management and ~4,000 advisors who work out of 3,500 branches and 21 offices.
The Field Finance & Performance Management team supports the Chase Wealth Management CEO, the Chase Wealth Management field leadership team as well as the field organization of ~4,000 advisors. The Field Performance Management Lead will manage a small team in New York and Bengaluru focused on providing insights, ad-hoc analysis and reporting on advisor productivity, profitability of different advisor coverage models and optimization of field capacity. The Field Performance Management Lead will also partner with key stakeholders to develop a process to monitor, track and assess advisor productivity which will include providing frequent reporting and key insights to senior management and other key stakeholders. In addition, will develop and help execute strategies designed to enhance advisor productivity based on data, analysis and insights.
Must be able to regularly interface with the CEO of Chase Wealth Management, CFO of U.S. Wealth Management, Head of Data & Analytics, Head of Practice Management and other senior level field managers and peers to answer questions, advise, present and interpret financial information and data into actionable insights. Must be able to lead cross-functional team to develop reporting and governance strategy that will track advisor productivity and hold field managers accountable for advisor performance.
- Evaluate advisor productivity and profitability to inform decisions on optimizing and scaling business model for both in-branch and out of-branch advisors
- Partner closely with Data & Analytics team to identify opportunities to optimize advisor performance and operating model
- Provide day-to-day project management to cross-functional working team responsible for developing process and governance for advisor performance management end to end
- Develop and maintain reporting that tracks advisor productivity and also integrate reporting and key metrics into business reviews and scorecards
- Provide regular updates to U.S. Wealth Management’s senior leadership as well as CWM’s field leadership team on advisor productivity, performance management, trending and progress towards goals
- Partner with field leadership and HR on development of performance measurement and compensation planning
- Perform ad hoc analysis in support of financial and strategic goals
- Oversee/prepare business review materials
- Recruit, develop and manage top talent
- ~10+ years relevant Financial Services experience
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant Master’s degree preferred
- Strong independent thinker and passionate about driving decisions through analytical insights in a sales organization
- Able to integrate different points of view and influence through facts
- Outstanding written and verbal communications and ability to tailor message and style to different constituencies (e.g., Field, Finance, Executive Management)
- Ability to influence and advise executive management
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high-performing team of quantitative professionals, preferably over multiple locations
- Deep knowledge and understanding of financial principles and ability to link results to activities
- Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple (and changing) project deliverables at same time
- Business savvy and commercial judgment
