Job Description

NVIDIA’s invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI — the next era of computing — with the GPU acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. Today, we are increasingly known as “the AI computing company.” We’re looking to grow our company, and build our teams with the smartest people in the world. Would you like to join us at the forefront of technological advancement?

NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW instantly transforms nearly any laptop, desktop, Mac, SHIELD TV or Android mobile device into the PC gaming rig gamers have always dreamed of. The GeForce NOW developers, publishers and Client Services team builds platforms and services to bring an ever growing array of features for game developers, publishers and gamers.

We are looking for an intern to join us full time during the Winter time frame (February – May)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with NVIDIA mentors to identify areas to enhance tools and features related to the Developer, Publisher and Client Services platform

  • Own design and development of identified tools or features

  • Get exposure to the technologies, tools and processes used by the team

What we need to see:

  • Pursuing a BS/MS degree in Computer Science

  • Excellent problem solving skills with a bias for solving tough problems.

  • Experience with writing readable, testable, maintainable and extensible code in Python.

  • Strong bias for action with excellent verbal, and written communication skills

  • Foundation in software design and programming concepts

  • Experience building web services using Amazon AWS (specially using Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora and AWS S3)

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Be a gamer who lives and breathes data

  • You are curious. You seek to explore and learn new business domains, problem spaces, technologies and tools

  • Have fascination with developing REST services and cloud native apps

We work in a tight knit group to design, develop, test and maintain features. We have an agile iterative demeanor, experimentation and data driven approach with focus on user feedback and metrics. We have steadfast curiosity, and a motivation to improve product quality and business outcomes with data.

NVIDIA is committed to fostering a diverse work environment and proud to be an equal opportunity employer. As we highly value diversity in our current and future employees, we do not discriminate (including in our hiring and promotion practices) on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, gender expression , sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status or any other characteristic protected by law.
