Morgan Stanley’s Corporate Compensation team is seeking a HR professional with 2-4 years of compensation-related experience.

This individual’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Compensation Expense Modeling & Reporting: Forecast, Budget, CCAR, overall Firmwide Consolidated Comp
  • Preparation and Delivery of Firmwide Compensation Metrics
  • Creation of Annual Compensation Committee Materials
  • Deferred Compensation Governance/Oversight
  • Creation and Maintenance of Compensation Policy & Governance
  • Severance Accruals in coordination with Finance
  • Preparation of Regulatory Reporting
  • Preparation of Ad-Hoc Analyses for Senior Management
This role will require collaboration with various partners, including Finance, Executive Compensation, Payroll and Business-specific Compensation Teams.
The job will require heavy use of HR systems, spreadsheets, and databases.


Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ Years Professional Related Work Experience
  • Strong Analytical, Quantitative, and Technical skills (able to develop and produce meaningful reports from multiple streams of data)
  • Advanced Excel skills (comfort with highly complex formulas, working with large data sets, pivot tables, Visual Basic knowledge a plus)
  • Exposure to Access (able to write basic queries and operate pre-built databases)
  • Enjoys solving problems and streamlining / automating processes

Interpersonal Skills:
  • Enjoys high volume, fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Can demonstrate ability to meet stringent deadlines while balancing multiple simultaneous projects
  • Excellent prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; able to simply and concisely convey complex ideas
  • Thorough attention to detail a must
  • Must be a team player
  • Poised & self-confident (not afraid to ask questions or speak-up)
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
