Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a DDGR Senior Project Manager for the CFIN (Central Finance Project) located in New Brunswick New Jersey.

Project and Initiative Delivery
  • Responsible for managing large complex programs & projects throughout the full project life cycle – from ideation, planning, resourcing, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure
  • Manage PMO activities in support of the overall program which primarily include the program work plan, resource plans and RAID logs
  • Global program & project management experience is a plus
  • Create and manage project schedules, resource plans, budget (planned, actual and forecast), scope management plan and risk management plan RAID Logs
  • Manage the change control and design governance processes as part of the overall scope management
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
  • Drive project delivery to meet stakeholder objectives while maintaining project delivery quality
  • Work with Business and IT Stakeholders to develop and execute on the vision of the project
  • Ensure that all deliverables are on track and executed per the plan (including SLDC deliverables)
  • Understand the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
  • Drive the cross workstream integration to ensure schedules are met
  • Manage the project resources to ensure the appropriate skills and number of resources on the project are in line with the original estimates
  • Ability to manage projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Understands and supports the company’s goals and objectives, and makes certain that his/her actions and decisions are consistent with them
  • Follow all control and compliance regulations including SDLC deliverables
Relationship and Leadership
  • Cultivate a close working relationship with the SigniFi Teams in order to understand overall requirements and identify risks and opportunities
  • Contribute as an active and engaged member of the team to ensure the success of the overall program
  • Ability to lead meetings with business, technical and global representatives regarding the project activities, timeline and issues
  • Ability to articulate project status, key issues and dependencies to all levels of management
  • Provides status updates to appropriate levels of management

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 5+ years’ experience using a project management tool such as MS Project and Excel
  • Exemplary communication skills (written, presentation, meeting management, documentation)
  • Strong project delivery skills – accurate project planning, deliver to milestone dates, manages resources effectively, communicates status effectively, manages risks & issues, and can juggle multiple activities at once to accomplish goals
  • Experience with data flows, data hub, data migration and data warehouse is a plus
  • Experience with enterprise-wide implementations and having Finance experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience delivering on projects of various sizes & duration. Highly adaptable to changing needs within the organization – adapts to rapidly changing priorities. Strong technical aptitude – past experience with finance or SAP implementations
  • Full comprehension and appreciation for the complete systems development lifecycle
  • Able to work effectively and build relationships with employees at all levels. Ability to establish new processes and systems. Able to coordinate and motivate cross-functional team members not under his/her direct supervision
  • Prior experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Advanced MS Project skills
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques
  • Experience collaborating with others in Business & IT management roles to deliver shared results
  • Ability to achieve results without necessarily having a reporting relationship
  • Strong attention to detail in planning the intricacies of projects and in making sure project dependencies, conflicts, and issues are resolved in a manner maximizing the value delivered to the business
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles as it relates to project management and delivery of a business case (budget vs. earned progress, capital vs. expense, etc.)
  • Develops communication strategies and plans to ensure organizational awareness and adoption of end state
  • Serves as subject matter expert in routinely briefing key stakeholders on different aspects of assigned initiatives
  • Having abilities to create and manage SharePoint sites, templates, processes and communications is a plus
  • Provides various administrative services necessary to keep the project on track: status reporting, budget and forecast management, resource planning, vendor management
