The Corporate Communications team supports McKesson’s internal and executive communications and manages the company’s public relations efforts. The Specialist, Corporate Communications plays an important role by providing support for the internal communications team – leading key department projects supporting communications team members and executives with event coordination and writing, distributing final communications and more.
What makes a successful candidate for this role? You are passionate about clear and human communications, think creatively about how to help our team and executives communicate their priorities and company strategy to the employee population and work well with other teams, including other corporate communication teams, creative services and investor relations. You are a strong writer who can craft communications that clearly communicate complicated business issues – making them digestible and interesting to the general employee population. You know when to inject humor and when to stick to business in your writing. You are results driven and take pride in executing
flawlessly on projects small and large. Finally, you are a team player – focusing more on “us” than “me.”
