Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking multiple Systems Engineering Managers to join our team. These leadership roles will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. What you will get to do: Operations Manager (OM) will provide leadership to the Systems Engineering Directorate and associated SYS-E IPT and will be primarily responsible for coordinating between team members as well as liaising with different teams and disciplines within the program organization. The OM will manage the Systems Engineering Directorate program execution rhythm, coordination and reporting activities (PMRs) to assure that all external requirements are completed on time. The OM will manage the internal Systems Engineering Directorate coordination and reporting activities by establishing milestones and monitoring the adherence to master plans and schedules, identifying program problems and obtaining solutions. The OM will coordinate MST program event as well as the preparation of proposals, proposal work statements and specifications, and commitments of new contracts.
