This is not your typical sales manager job. As an Allstate Agency Sales Manager running a location inside of an car dealership, you will optimize the agency building strong relationships with the community. You’ll be part of the car dealership family collaborating with other department heads and the general manager. Day to day you will oversee operations, sales and the overall growth goals of the insurance agency. Endless leads are walked over to you and the team throughout the day. No need for hours of cold calling here since you’re partnering with the car sales side. You will apply insurance knowledge and sales management skills to increase efficiency and oversee the growth of a thriving agency located inside of an existing dealership. Responsibilities:

  • Attend pre-launch meetings designing branding initiatives, verifying all operations, technology and staff are prepared for launch
  • Oversee day to day operations, ongoing dealership marketing activities and coach/mentor/train licensed sales professionals
  • Implements sales straggles ensuring agency is meeting long term growth and sales goals
  • Conduct sales team education meetings, weekly sales progress meetings and create/execute plans for adjustments when needed
  • Collaborates with agency owner discussing sales data, staff retention reporting and progress of agency operations goals
  • Sell products and assists with escalated customer account resolutions when needed

Qualifications:

  • P&C and Life/Health license
  • Sales management experience
  • Experience driving sales growth and implementing processes to meet overall operational goals
  • Insurance industry background
  • Auto industry background a plus
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders a plus
  • Leadership in a startup organization and direct contributions to growth a plus
