As a 2021 Summer Intern with FIS, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 7, 2021 and conclude on August 13, 2021.


*This position is located in either Jacksonville, FL or Collegeville, PA*


About The Team

The LFI (Large Financial Institutions) and Next Generation Banking line of business is the growth engine within FIS’s Banking & Payments Division. Specifically, the Business Operations team is responsible for strategic planning, process execution, cross-team collaboration, communication, partner management, operational oversight, contracts, pricing, and business intelligence. With modern solutions and fintech partnerships targeting the top tier financial institutions globally the operational control, management and oversight of several key stakeholders and a multi-million-dollar P&L is paramount to division and corporate success. It is an exciting opportunity to join our team due to Modern Banking Platform’s growing market acceptance and building global momentum!


What You Will Be Doing

  • Help propose and plan process and/or business function workflow improvement initiatives
  • Document current and future target state process improvements with automation controls.
  • Identify and develop metrics and reporting processes that provide intelligence for process measurement improvement.


What You Bring

  • Rising Senior (graduating December 2021 through May 2022)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

About the Team

The Client Engagement Center of Excellence team is comprised of driven professionals who are motivated to maximize efficiency opportunities and champion organizational progress. We actively seek opportunities to add value to FIS and its lines of business. While the Center of Excellence consists of several focus areas, this role is dedicated to the ‘Data Driven Routines’ function.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Working with various sources to compile, scrub and aggregate data
  • Creating reports and analyzing data trends through several reporting and business intelligence (BI) tools
  • Collaborating with team members on projects in other focus areas such as: technology, governance, process and communication
  • Hosting your own meetings to provide updates and to facilitate thought leadership dialogue amongst the team
  • Presenting findings to peers and even upper management on a regular cadence
