The Brain Health Registry is working to accelerate the development of effective treatments for brain diseases by establishing a web-based registry of people interested in participating in neuroscience research. Participation in the registry involves answering questionnaires and taking tests that assess cognitive performance, all from the comfort of your own home. Using this data, participants may then be referred to various academic and industry sponsored studies for which they are an ideal match. This will greatly improve the cost effectiveness of neuroscience research by providing a large cohort of pre-screened and pre consented subjects followed longitudinally.

The Team

  • Collecting client requirements, system features and functionality and developing system designs.
  • Performing analysis and writing program specifications for multiple projects.
  • Developing user interfaces, completing programming and producing targeted deliverables.
  • Coordinating project requirements, schedules and activities and providing status reports.
  • Supporting users by developing documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Performing technical evaluation of products to determine advantages and disadvantages.


What we’re looking for…

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and one or more years of work experience
  • Experience developing Java/J2ee web applications, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, REACT and Web Services.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile Development

Even better if you have:

  • Two or more years of IT Development experience with the applicable skills. Skills include: Java J2EE, REACT, JavaScript and SQL.
  • Strong database developer skills including Stored Procedures for Oracle, as well as Oracle PL/SQL and PostGreSQL.
  • Experience with SDLC tools like Maven, Ant, SVN/Git and Jira.
  • Experience with Web Services and API testing tools like Soap.
  • Knowledge with UNIX/Linux with UNIX scripting/Python.
  • Knowledge of Node.js, REACTJS, Spring, Apache Ignite, Docker.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools including JIRA, Git/Stash, Confluence, Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of Wireless Cell build Engineering flow.
