Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking their next Laboratory Technician to join the Microelectronics & Electronics Manufacturing team. This position will be based in Manhattan Beach, CA.
The selected candidate will implement a variety of laboratory procedures such as coordinating with the Calibration team to ensure equipment is calibrated within expiration dates, purge equipment that is not functioning properly, coordinating hardware and test set moves via ASSETSMART. Candidate will be responsible for tool accountability compliance for manual assembly personnel, as well as maintaining equipment and lab facilities in the lab. This person will coordinate floor stock purchases through the business administrator, as well as orders equipment and lab supplies via the IBUY system.
Additional responsibilities include performing daily compliance checks of the lab to ensure all personnel are working within OSHA, Environmental Health and Safety requirements as well as AQMD (Air Quality Management Department)standards. Performs technical and record keeping duties in conformance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements. The person has the opportunity to meet with suppliers and vendors regarding equipment purchases. The selected candidate will be relied on to ensure the day to day workings in the lab run smoothly.
