Role Description
The Office of the CIO (CIO) is charged with leading the IT transformation and building an organization that ensures the standardization of processes and tools, that enable the effective and efficient delivery of IT solutions to our business partners. The Service Portfolio Management and Projects Office (SPMPO) within the OCIO plays an instrumental role with driving IT wide project, portfolio, resource, financial and organizational change management standards, processes, tools and governance that consistently deliver the desired business outcomes.
The Manager, IT Organizational Change Management (OCM) will be responsible for helping organizations and teams bridge the gap from current to desired future state in the quickest and most efficient way. Our goal is to accelerate the acceptance of change as well as enable the sustainability of the change while optimizing end user adoption. The Manager will make significant contributions to a broad range of high impact programs/projects/initiatives designed to support IT, the business, and improve the overall effectiveness.. The Manager, IT Organizational Change Management will manage change at all levels, both internally to IT stakeholders and to the Business.
Primary Duties

Develop, execute, and manage change management strategies, deliverables, and activities
Establish consistent change management standards, methods, and tools to be used throughout project and portfolio management
Create creative sustainment strategies to support the development of Organizational Change Management competencies throughout Exelon IT
Represent Organizational Change Management through governance and project/program/product gating activities
Write, review, and provide final approval on communications
Engage with strategic partners to ensure the governance, oversight, and support of organizational change management is consistent in all organizations
Develop, review, and provide final approval on change management deliverables
Champion change with IT and business partners, present complex concepts, and continually seek new and innovative ways to solve business/IT problems.

Qualifications

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum:
Bachelors degree in Organizational Development, Business Management, Change Management, or related discipline.
Typically, 8-10 or more years of experience in leading organizational change management
Experience and knowledge of business processes. Previous hands on experience with business applications and/or the product portfolio.
Demonstrated strategy planning and customer engagement skills and experience leading teams and people through change.
Excellent consultative skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation. Advanced interpersonal skills, communications skills, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to present and discuss complex technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding and approval

Experience leading business/IT training design, development, and delivery for complex IT projects and audiences of varying levels and business functions.

Excellent active listening skills. Adapts communications style as needed to best suit the audience and situation. Agile, with a learning mindset.

Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast, complex, and changing environment.
Preferred:
Graduate degree in Organizational Development, Business Management, Change Management or MBA
Ten or more years experience in Organization Change or Organizational Development
