Job Description

As the world around us is shifting more and more to remote work and digital interactions, our customers are looking for solutions to help them engage their own customers and continue to deliver their services to them. A key aspect of this transformation is our customers’ acute need to offer their customers a way to schedule both online and in-person services such as medical consults, financial-consulting sessions, appointments with retail associates, teacher-student sessions, and more. Microsoft Bookings is the Microsoft 365 app that was designed exactly for that! In the past 12 months we’ve seen an unprecedented acceleration in customer demand for Bookings, which has been growing exponentially. Therefore, we’re looking for a self-driven and passionate product marketer who is looking for an opportunity to own a live product end-to-end as a Product Marketing Manager (PMM), and build a strong skill-set across inbound and outbound work.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Bookings Engineering team to design the product roadmap based on customer feedback, usage data and competitive analysis. Bookings has a dedicated Program Management (PM), and Engineering teams for whom you’ll be the primary marketing owner. In addition to Bookings, there will be opportunities to partner with our engineering teams on incubation products related to Calendaring and Time Management. Own the Bookings marketing plan across all channels and segments. Your accountability will include prioritizing marketing moments, owning our disclosure approach, leveraging social channels to amplify news and develop a community of fans. We have just made bookings available to Enterprise customers given the strong demand, and the Bookings plan now needs to cover all commercial segments, including Enterprise. Engage the Microsoft field and FastTrack to help the sales industry teams (e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare, etc.), Enterprise account teams, and the FastTrack Managers land the value of Bookings with their customers. Be a product advocate to help evangelize Bookings with customers through direct customer interactions and by empowering our customer community forums. Bookings is now also available as an app within Teams, so you’ll be working to promote Bookings as a standalone app, in addition to partnering with the Teams PMM team to co-promote Bookings in Teams for medical virtual visits and additional new scenarios. In this role you will be expected to generate high-impact ideas, engage and influence stakeholders across engineering, marketing and business-planning disciplines while driving initiatives to completion. This role is part of the Outlook and Exchange PMM team and may include accountabilities that go beyond Bookings.

Qualifications

This position requires 2+ years in product marketing, product management or program management. In addition, candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellent oral and written communications abilities, strong analytical and interpersonal skills – including the ability to interact with senior engineering and marketing leaders.

Job Description

The Relationship Marketing team in the Global Demand Center is looking for a Relationship Marketing Manager to build and manage a global lifecycle strategy to drive Microsoft Teams usage and customer engagement.
This role requires passion for deeply understanding how Microsoft 365 customers use Microsoft Teams today to influence the next step of their journey. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Marketing, Engineering, and Data Science counterparts to develop and execute a Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) strategy to drive deeper engagement and usage from our Microsoft Teams customers, using data models and customer insights to deliver multi-channel communications including email and dynamic in-product messaging.

We are looking for an individual with data-driven marketing experience, strong communication and collaboration skills, and a keen focus on creating great customer experiences. The successful candidate is passionate about engaging and developing relationships with customers, has technical depth, is data-driven, analytical and creative in approach, is able to formulate broad strategies and execute, and has retention experience in a subscription services business.


Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Product Management (Program Management/Engineering), Product Marketing Management (PMM), and acquisition marketing partners to develop and execute against a cohesive digital Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategy for Microsoft 365 commercial users, with the end goal of increasing monthly active users (MAU), earning fans and building brand champions.
  • Analyze customer experience using quantitative and qualitative methodologies, gaining a deep understanding of Microsoft Teams – as well as competitor products – to inform how we shape our marketing strategy.
  • Leverage data models and customer insights to inform marketing segmentation and increase campaign relevance, prioritize marketing programs based on return on investment analysis and manage a rolling roadmap to maximize the business impact and optimize the use of marketing resources.
  • Develop, launch, assess performance of, iterate on, and scale out digital marketing campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Provide the strategic direction, set goals, facilitate idea generation, drive prioritization, and set the rhythm of execution/delivery for the cross-functional team that works with you to support CRM for Teams.
  • Work with cross-functional partners in Legal (CELA), Privacy, and other functions to ensure that we are developing CRM experiences and campaigns that meet customer privacy, legal, policy, and customer experience standards and requirements.
  • Live and breathe the customer experience, gaining a deep understanding of Microsoft Teams – as well as their competitors – to inform how we shape our CRM strategy.
  • Identify and enable new marketing capabilities, optimizing to deliver messages via the best communication channel to drive impact and ensure a positive customer experience.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience
  • Digital marketing or product management experience
  • Experience partnering closely with Product Management and Data Science teams
  • Strong analytical thinking and experience partnering closely with data analysts
