This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- Applied development experience using dynamic and static languages like Python, Groovy, Java, Scala etc. and recent experience with Python
- Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Familiarity with TDD and / or BDD
- Familiarity with SQL/No-SQL databases
- Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes / micro-services / Spark / Kafka
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- Working proficiency in enterprise developmental toolsets like Jenkins, Git/ Bitbucket, Sonar, Black Duck, LeanFT, UFT, HP ALM, Puppet, Splunk, Apigee etc.
- Working proficiency with Agile, Lean and Continuous Delivery best practice
- Knowledge of software best practices like refactoring, clean code, domain driven design, encapsulation etc.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication
- Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
