Senior-level analyst, responsible for providing business analysis support for the Truist Merger Program Develop or modify procedures to solve complex business problems considering client needs, application capabilities, industry requirements and regulatory guidance. Perform analysis and work at the highest level, participating in program and project development.

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN CHARLOTTE, NC, BUT WILL REQUIRE TRAVEL TO OTHER TRUIST SITES


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Work independently to gather, formulate and define requirements to solve moderately complex business problems. Provide support for resulting implementation projects.
2. Work independently to interpret requirements to provide analytical support to business partners. Analyze business partner’s operations to understand strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.
3. Work independently to develop a strong knowledge of assigned business areas and computer applications.
4. Develop testing requirements and test documentation (e.g. test plans, test cases, test scripts) and execute/oversee test execution.
5. Update project plans and track key issues and risks.
6. Coordinate and respond to requests from Audit, 2nd Line Risk, and regulators.
7. Prepare presentations for management, Audit, 2nd Line Risk and regulators.
8. Lead initiatives\minor projects.


Required Skills and Competencies:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, IT, or equivalent education and related training
2. Four years of experience in financial industry; specifically in risk, audit, operations, technology or project management
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products and SharePoint
5. Ability to work independently or as a member of a team in a fast paced environment
6. Ability to train others
7. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
