Position Summary: Senior Operations Executive
Danaher has a commitment to build the strongest talent for our Operations & Supply Chain Function. This role is an investment in talent for external hires to learn the Culture of Danaher (DBS) through development in the Danaher Corporate DBS (Danaher Business System) Office for 6 to 12 months before exporting into one of our Operating Companies (OpCos). To be ready for export, a candidate will have demonstrated commitment to Gemba Leadership with understanding the DBS Fundamentals and key DBS LEAN tools with a clear development plan to continue their DBS knowledge journey once they export
The Successful Candidate
15+ years’ experience in a global, networked, Lean manufacturing environment of a top company with world class manufacturing capabilities.
A bachelor’s degree in business management, operations management or engineering.
An M.B.A. or other advanced degree is strongly preferred.
Experience leading manufacturing, supply chain and supporting new product development of integrated technology products.
Experience working in a regulated business (e.g. FDA) desirable.
A demonstrated track record of achieving stretch goals within a global manufacturing network for safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventory turns improvement and cost reduction, as well as leadership of a multi-site manufacturing operation.
Shown hands-on Lean conversion experience.
Experience with process development for new products and applying sophisticated manufacturing techniques.
Consistent record of organization and team development including succession planning, developing future leaders and top grading.
Positively drives team engagement, collaboration and teamwork.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including effective use of presentations and spreadsheet analysis.
Due diligence and acquisition integration experience will be a plus.
