Northrop Grumman’s Enterprise Services organization is seeking a Software Development Analyst at its Melbourne, FL location. The selected candidate will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and modifying enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software, and will be involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as meeting software compliance standards. The candidate will also evaluate interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, characteristics of overall systems, and document testing and maintenance of system corrections across multiple programs. This individual will be responsible for working with the end user troubleshooting issues, performing installations and upgrades, system maintenance, as well as configuring and maintaining user accounts.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications for Level 1:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or similar technical discipline
  • Familiarity with systems software support, development, and maintenance.
  • Experience with supporting applications and users within a large enterprise.
  • Experience with desktop, client/server and web architecture end-user support and incident resolution
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Security+ certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance.


Basic Qualifications for Level 2:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science with at least 2 years of relevant work experience OR Master’s degree in similar technical discipline
  • Familiarity with systems software support, development, and maintenance.
  • Experience with supporting applications and users within a large enterprise.
  • Experience with desktop, client/server and web architecture end-user support and incident resolution
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Security+ certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting IT operations in a classified environment
  • Experience in Systems Software is a plus (CAMEO, Rhapsody, Atlassian, ClearCase and ClearQuest)
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance with SAP access
  • Current Security+ Certification.
