Global strategic partnerships are a core component of how TFB will differentiate itself in the marketplace. The leader will closely collaborate with T-Mobile’s parent companies Deutsche Telekom and Softbank, capitalize on their strategic partners as well as cultivate new relationships within and outside of the telco industry to generate new revenue streams for TFB. The leader will build a partner eco-system helping TFB with faster Go to market

The Sr Manager will be accountable for building strong and trusting relationships with key players within and outside of the telecommunications industry. Needs to work well with large multinational firms, be equally effective across different cultures and at many levels within these companies, including C-level executives.
Develop framework and procedures in support of the identification, engagement and development of strategic partnerships
Scout, identify and/or create new strategic partnerships: a) identify and analyze complex market/business opportunities, b) evaluate key players and technologies, c) assess customer and market opportunities, d) develop differentiated product/service strategies, e) create potential economic/financial/business models, f) make T-Mobile recommendations, and g) develop business relationships to create new strategic partners.
Structure and drive global strategic partnerships including development of key economic, business, and operational terms; negotiate and execute contracts with these partnerships; and manage their evolution
Lead partnership relations management; manage all aspects of ongoing partnerships, building trust and ensuring value is created for both parties.
Manage senior-level relationships with internal customers and with key players in the mobile industry – both in established and emerging segments and ecosystems.
Develop deep domain expertise in sectors vital to T-Mobile’s core strategy. Provide strategic analysis and guidance (economic/financial, customer and market opportunities, key players and technologies, potential business models, T-Mobile fit, etc.) for a multitude of sectors and domains. Formulate recommendations and lead reviews of new opportunities, technologies, business models etc., to cross-functional teams
Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
- 8+ years of business development, alliance management, and/or strategic sales experience with financial/economic analysis preferably in consumer-focused wireless, high-tech (software, internet/new media, entertainment/content, etc.) or consumer electronics industries
- Experience in negotiating complete complex contracts/exhibits, RFP and RFI responses, co-marketing agreements, and related documentation and collaboration
- Exceptionally strong strategic, industry, and financial/economic analysis skills
- Telecommunications industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or GED
- Pre-employment background screen
