Part-time Strategic Analytics Intern
Position Summary
The International Coaching Federation is seeking a College Intern with an interest in data analytics to support the business intelligence functions for the Association. The Strategic Analytics Intern will learn and work with our strategic analytics team in the support of strategic ICF initiatives by mining and analyzing key member, customer, prospect, and other data and preparing analysis reports. We offer a flexible schedule for students. 20 Hours a week. The internship will begin immediately and end in December 2020.
Qualifications Required:
  • Basic understanding of statistics
  • Interest in data analytics
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access
  • Experience with data visualization (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI)
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week
  • Ability to work in Lexington, Ky
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
Qualifications Desired:
  • Knowledge or experience with database/statistical analysis tools (SAS, SPSS, SQL, Stata, R)
  • Experience with association management software such as NetForum
Essential Duties:
  • Run internal reports for monthly processes
  • Collect data and design data source tables
  • Clean and manipulate data
  • Validate information and locate data anomalies within internal databases
  • Consolidates data from various sources and distills it into key insights
  • Assist with mining and analyzing data, highlighting key findings, and delivering informed recommendations
  • Improves data quality through the application of data governance and defining standards
  • Support ICF membership, credentialing and accreditation recruitment
