The Talent Acquisition Marketing and Events Manager will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of the campus and experienced recruiting attraction and engagement strategy, which includes a strong focus on diversity. They will partner with the entire Talent Acquisition team, Firm Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to raise the firm’s employer brand, effectively promote our culture and the various recruiting events, programs and roles for students, entry level and experienced candidates.

Responsibilities will include developing various communication strategies in order to help reach our hiring goals, including the management of promotion and logistics for all efforts. In addition, they will be responsible for identifying areas of opportunity and enhancements to present to stakeholders and clients based on the competitive landscape and internal KPIs and returns on investments.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of Talent Acquisition and Firm Marketing to develop the digital and social strategy for the function, with a strong focus on identifying new opportunities to raise our brand awareness on campus and across the experienced hire landscape
  • Liaise with Firm Marketing to develop and deliver creative assets necessary for social channels, Morgan Stanley’s career site, and in-person programs (e.g. videos, collateral, templates)
  • Rollout templates and best practices for candidate attraction strategies, such as job descriptions and keep warm campaigns for a variety of candidate profiles
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to develop consistent messaging and facilitate global alignment, recognizing the nuances of our various markets
  • In conjunction with Firm Marketing, develop Employee Advocacy program to help amplify voices of current employees in Talent Acquisition efforts
  • Analyze the ROI of recruitment marketing and brand initiatives, using data-driven metrics
  • Develop and execute strategy to continue “marketing” to individuals after accepting an offer, but before officially starting with the Firm

Events Management
  • Oversee and enhance various attraction strategies in a tailored but consistent manner, depending on the target audience (i.e. level, business, university, diversity organization)
  • Ensure events are effectively structured with both education and networking opportunities – with a mix of virtual and in-person – and that all participants are well-prepared to promote Morgan Stanley
  • Effectively partner with recruiters, business stakeholders and campus ambassadors to identify and execute opportunities to elevate Morgan Stanley’s brand, as well as our individual businesses
  • Partner with the Head of Talent Acquisition Diversity and individual recruiters to agree upon and deliver innovative diversity recruiting events and marketing strategies
  • Closely partner with campus and experienced recruiters on strategies to maintain relationships with top candidates over lengthy lifecycle, as well as post-offer
  • Manage metrics, budget, analysis and reporting on event and partnership strategies, including regular reviews of our efforts in order to justify YOY changes



Skills Required
  • Ability to develop and deploy content strategies across various platforms in a way that resonates with specific target audiences and differentiates Morgan Stanley’s brand
  • Experience with developing and managing internal and external relationships
  • Prior experience in either campus recruiting events management and/or brand marketing
  • Proven track record in building and executing on talent attraction strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and run in-person and/or virtual events
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, consistently demonstrating a high degree of professionalism
  • Ability to think strategically and get things done
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines, prioritize competing demands and identify/solve problems
  • Works well independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Proven ability to manage a team

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, PR, or relevant field required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the requirements listed above.
Minimum 3 -5 years’ proven experience implementing and designing effective recruitment marketing strategies for a large organization
