People Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) is looking for an experienced Technical Account Manager who will partner with the Engineering and Business Operations teams to deliver software for various platforms. The project managers will partner closely with the People Data Engineering team and various multi-functional business teams to develop the roadmap, build new features, and deliver software releases. Join a dynamic team of Engineers and Technical Account Managers focused on providing innovative business solutions.
This role can be virtual or on site (Austin, TX or Cupertino, CA).
Key Qualifications
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of parallel running, fast-paced projects on schedule
  • Understanding of Agile and iterative project approaches. Experience managing Agile projects
  • Experience working with Engineering teams to understand solution architecture and implementation
  • Ability to flex project management approach based on project type and timelines
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skill set, e.g. user scenarios and flows
  • Analytical capabilities needed to synthesize large amounts of data into a clear story and/or assess business process improvement opportunities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate at all organizational levels
  • Ability to provide concise project updates, while ensuring alignment between Business Stakeholders and Engineering teams
  • Thrives in ambiguous work environment
  • Solid teammate with a high degree of flexibility
  • Demonstrable ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams in a global matrix organization
  • Familiarity with People programs and systems is preferred
  • Project Manager certification (PMP, CPM, etc.) preferred
Description
– Project Manage multiple, fast-paced People Data Team projects.
– Play the role of Scrum Master and Product Owner for People Data Team applications by coordinating scrum meetings, backlog grooming and working closely with Engineering team on all phases of the project.
– Work with Business partners to determine requirements and user scenarios.
– Work closely with the People Data Engineering team to ensure requirements are interpreted appropriately and the solution being developed meets business needs.
– Drive systems solution and work with Engineering team to have a clear understanding of system architecture and backend configurations.
– Coordinate integration testing/UAT as needed and bubble up high priority issues or risks.
– Lead project status meetings and ensure alignment between the key parties on all aspects of the project.
– Provide project updates via emails, meetings.
– Track risks and work across teams on mitigation and communication plans.
– Track Change requests as part of the release scope.
– Prepare detailed release notes, status reports, and process metrics.
– Drive process change to contribute towards improving quality of releases.
– Lead meetings with Leadership teams on People Data Team project updates and roadmap.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, etc preferred.
