Cigna Technology Services is looking for passionate technology-focused individuals to join the Technology Early Career Development Program (TECDP) On-Campus Internship. The TECDP mission is to support the professional development needs of early career technology program associates, as well as Cigna’s talent requirements by providing program associates with challenging assignments, formalized training, and guided mentorship. The committed partnership between associates, program management, and Cigna’s Technology Services leadership is a testament to the value of the TECDP and the critical role it plays in developing Cigna’s future technology professionals.
The TECDP On-Campus Internship offers students interested in the field of technology a realistic experience of what it’s like to work in technology services. The internship is designed to develop an individual’s technical skills aligned with their interests. The TECDP program manager will work with interns to determine the best role for them prior to starting.
Opportunities for on-campus interns are available in many areas of technology services. Our on-campus interns will work 10-15 hours per week but are valued as full-time program associates and this opportunity could lead to full-time employment upon graduation.

Release Train Engineer
Business or Systems Analyst
Information Protection Specialist
Length of Internship: 14 weeks
Locations: University of Connecticut and Eastern Connecticut State University
Current student at University of Connecticut or Eastern Connecticut State University
Bachelor’s Degree in progress in Information Science & Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering or Business/Technical related discipline
Ability to effectively communicate via oral and written channels
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical/technical skills and knowledge
Innovative thinker and problem solver
Energetic, motivated, and career-driven
Seeks learning opportunities
3.0 or better overall GPA
One goal of this internship program is to prepare and identify qualified candidates for roles with Cigna post-graduation. Therefore, this temporary internship is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
