Job Description

Position Overview:

As a leader in the Total Rewards Center of Excellent, this role participates in the strategy, design, and governance of executive rewards programs. Manage support for the Talent & Compensation Committee, proxy filing, executive movement, executive incentive and equity design. In partnership with Platform Services, lead the administration of compensation programs designed exclusively for executives, oversee job architecture, job evaluation, and benchmarking of executive roles, and support the executive rewards cycle. Acts as an individual contributor, operates with broad latitude in a complex environment, acts as a subject matter expert within the organization, manages large projects or processes, coaches lower level professionals in skills, delegates work to them and reviews it.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads the executive compensation process, including offers, promotions, separations, and the annual rewards cycle. This includes stakeholder management and the preparation of materials and analytics for the Talent & Compensation Committee

  • Leads the development, preparation and distribution of compensation presentations and communication materials for key stakeholders

  • Leads ad-hoc projects, as assigned, to support Total Rewards initiatives.

  • Supports the design decisions around the Total Rewards programs for Executives based on best in class analytics and analytical models

  • Leads the research of Executive Compensation trends available in the marketplace.

  • Leads the Market Pricing Activity for all Executives in partnership with My Rewards team

  • Provides support for the development of the Compensation Discussion and Analysis section of the annual Proxy Statement

  • Analyzes compensation and financial performance data and provides reporting, as needed.


Education Requirements:

Associates Degree minimum, Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred

Related Work Experience: 6-8 Years’ Experience in Executive Compensation or Total Rewards

  • Experience in the decision-making process based on analytical decision-making, and analysis comparing different company programs

  • Experience in developing and presenting senior stakeholder communications around compensation topics

  • Experience in leading compensation related research and producing summary analysis


Functional Skills:

  • Ability to analyze competitive market position and produce compelling analysis (written and presentation format) for senior stakeholders

  • Ability to run cost projections and prepare comparative analysis for decision making

  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to draw conclusions from data in a logical, systematic way

  • Advanced excel skills required, as well as compensation-specific applications

  • Ability to achieve results with high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Results driven; focused on achieving results

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Organized; ability to manage own workload efficiently to fulfill commitments in a timely manner

  • Strong team player and ability to work independently as well as in a team

  • Ability to handle pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment driven by deadlines
