Description

The VP of Lead Optimization & Business Development will align to that purpose by increasing top of the funnel leads derived from digital, and other strategies, across the Financial Wellness ecosystem (digital, business relationships, external) and via Assurance IQ. This work will propel the organization’s growth and facilitate more efficient opportunities for Prudential to deliver financial wellness to an expanded market across the entire advice continuum (digital, hybrid and face-to-face) driving improved sales growth in Life, Annuities, and Investments, and improved distribution economics. This role reports to the VP, Digital and Hybrid Advice Delivery, within the newly formed Retail Advice & Solutions business at Prudential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and deliver an AI-empowered, retail lead generation and routing engine for Prudential to capitalize on the company’s ability to solve the financial challenges of our changing world.

  • Establish and nurture relevant partnerships internally and externally to maximize lead flow from digital and other strategies, across the Prudential Financial Wellness ecosystem and via Assurance IQ.

  • Work across Prudential to identify and execute against opportunities that drive the company’s overall objectives.

  • Understand Prudential’s customer segments to develop partnerships that speak to and engage key audiences and maximize outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, advanced degree preferred
  • Superior relationship building skills, including excellent questioning/investigative skills to uncover needs
  • Strong business acumen and experience with lead generation, fulfillment costs, and solution economics
  • Strong quantitative skills including strong track record in forecasting and analysis (e.g. profit and loss, budgeting, sales projections, return on investments, life product profitability and levers)
  • Strong learning agility and understanding of the financial services industry to develop partnership opportunities based on that knowledge, as well as communicate information to others to assist in their success
  • Deep understanding of Prudential’s digital assets, as well as Prudential’s customer funnel
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects across multiple constituents and businesses
  • Leader who is comfortable with accountability to outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships, enabling the success of others
  • Ability to develop strategies, establishing priorities and executing plans that support new sales opportunities, within and beyond existing distribution channels and product lines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation, listening and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work and react quickly, in fast-paced, innovative, environment
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels
