Description
Prudential Financial is seeking a VP, Technology Programs to support Prudential’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) as an integral member of his leadership team. The successful candidate will lead and advance a wide array of strategic initiatives. The candidate must have strong business acumen, deep knowledge of infrastructure processes and technologies and demonstrated success contributing to an infrastructure transformation program. The successful candidate must also be able to exercise good judgment, form trusting relationships, and influence decision-making across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CTO in highly confidential matters
  • Develop content for and manage key internal and/or external meetings
  • Determine issues that require the CTO’s personal attention and respond/handle issues on his behalf as appropriate
  • Lead and drive the successful transformation of the infrastructure organization including the planning, coordination, communication and execution
  • Present transformation updates during key stakeholder meetings
  • Establish effective management routines to integrate projects, keep work on track and identify issues early enough to course correct
  • Develop measurement strategy including KPIs and build out of associated dashboards
  • Collaborate with business partners such as communications, finance and human resources as appropriate and to successfully move the organization to desired state

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence with all levels of a large organization; trustworthy with high integrity
  • Proven track record in leading and partnering to deliver complex initiatives successfully
  • Knowledge of infrastructure processes and technologies around datacenter, networking, server and storage
  • Contributed to the success of an infrastructure transformation program
  • Ability to define and manage KPIs and build out dashboards for infrastructure
  • Worked with/as part of agile teams
  • Understanding infrastructure costs/financials that drive expenses for the firm
  • Knowledge of how DevOps works
  • Exceptional verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional business acumen with excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to make connections of information and people by synthesizing issues and translating them into action plans
  • Strong ownership mentality with exceptional resourcefulness and drive for results
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
